I always secretly rooted for the foxes while I was reading :3 I especially loved the Marlfoxes.

The Marlfoxes were quite interesting; I always wished the goodbeasts hadn't discovered so soon that they weren't magic. It would've made a good mystery subplot and made the Marlfoxes even more threatening.:shrug::D

Thanks! Yes, the foxes tend to be interesting characters. I tried to get at least one from each book, but there weren't any foxes in Mariel or Doomwyte...
