GAMBIT Character References

These guys are from a 1960's spy story/comedy collab with my sister. The 2013 NaNoWriMo description:
"It's 1964, and Leo Chance is on top of the world. His job as an agent for G.A.M.B.I.T. takes him around the globe and gets him plenty of admirers on the side. But when his partner is forced to retire, Chance gets paired with the one guy no one wants to work with. Victor Ciucurencu is obnoxiously proficient at everything Chance isn't---and that's on top of him being from the wrong side of the Iron Curtain. Before their first week as partners is over, Chance and Victor C. (no, he’s not going to try to pronounce that) have been forced into a non-G.A.M.B.I.T.-sanctioned heist, assaulted Chance's old partner, broken into G.A.M.B.I.T. headquarters, and nearly run down a pedestrian in Chance's precious Pontiac GTO. And that's before he and Victor find themselves forced to pose as members of an enemy organization whose goal is (of course!) world domination."

Name: Leo Chance
Gender: Male
Age: 25
Appearance: Medium fair skin, 6'1, average weight, brown hair, hazel eyes. He is Italian on his mother's side.
Clothing: Black or gray suit; wristwatch
Personality: Chance comes from a wealthy background, but (like the other characters) he is very low-ranking in the GAMBIT agency. Despite this, he always tries to maintain a suave, Bond-like facade. Loves his '64 Pontiac GTO and showing off. He's friendly with the other agents, but avoids close friendships and long-term relationships. 


Name: Victor Ciucurencu
Gender: Male
Age: 24
Appearance: Olive skin (his mother was Roma), 5'7, thin, dark brown hair, dark blue eyes
Clothing: Dark blue suit (the jacket is worn-looking, but still neat); wristwatch. He sometimes wears geeky-looking plastic-framed glasses.
Personality: Victor is a new Romanian agent, sent over as a token gesture of goodwill between GAMBIT and the Eastern Bloc. A serious, quiet introvert who unconsciously comes across as a know-it-all, Victor has a generally miserable past he refuses to discuss. He is Chance's field partner, but they don't get along well. Victor thinks the epitome of revenge is hiding Chance's office supplies, but Chance never does his paperwork, so this isn't very effective. Although he's a field agent, Victor often hangs out in the research department.

Name: June Spinner
Gender: Female
Age: 23
Appearance: Fair skin, 5'8, slender, long, straight red-gold hair that curls at the ends, green eyes, earrings
Clothing: Fashionable 1960's clothing, mainly in bright colors; high-heeled boots, turtlenecks, berets, etc.
Personality: June is a new field agent who joined mainly for the adventure. As of yet, she's rather naive about the dark aspects. June is outgoing, social, and as a graduate of a drama school, has a flair for the dramatic. She tends to flirt with villains, somewhat to Chance's annoyance.


Name: Mari Slater
Gender: Female
Age: 24
Appearance: Brown skin, 5'7, black hair pulled back in a ponytail, dark eyes. She's of Creole descent, although her family lives in England.
Clothing: Turtleneck and slacks in austere colors; leather flats, bag with shoulder strap
Personality: A transferred British agent, Mari is June's field partner. She tends to be more grounded than June, but easygoing and good-natured. Is a bit of a stalker with a crush when it comes to Victor. Has secrets involving family in the rival organization.

Name: George Cavendish
Gender: Male
Age: 42
Appearance: Medium fair skin, 5'11, a bit on the stocky side; slightly wavy black hair turning gray, in a short haircut; blue-green eyes.
Clothing: Typical 60's men's wear, wristwatch, glasses when reading
Personality: George is Chance's ex-field partner, now a bored retired agent known to everyone else as the sarcastic-voice-on-the-other-end-of-the-intercom. He has a rivalry with the field agents, who tease him.


Name: Bianca Chance
Gender: Female
Age: 43, but looks in her early 30's
Appearance: Tall, slender, black hair, brown eyes, earrings. Good-looking.
Clothing: Fashionable early 1960's women's clothing
Personality: Bianca is Chance's mother and a non-malicious narcissist. She dislikes having him around because the presence of a 25-year-old son tends to deter the string of 30ish boyfriends she keeps around. Much to Chance's horror, she tries to flirt with Victor. She and Chance are mutually embarrassed of each other and only see each other once a year at Christmastime. Bianca is clever, but oblivious to and uninterested in anything that doesn't directly affect her.
